What we collect
- Your email address and name, and (if you use it) your Google sign-in identity.
- Your settings: saved searches, deal assumptions, alert preferences, your mobile number if you add one for text alerts, and the thumbs up/down you give deals.
- A record of the alerts we've sent you, so you don't get the same deal twice.
- If you subscribe: your plan and subscription status. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Web server logs (IP address, pages requested), kept for 14 days for security.
Property listings, valuations and AI assessments are about properties, not people.
Why (lawful basis)
- To provide the service you signed up for: sign-in, your deal feed, alerts, billing (contract).
- To keep the service secure and working (legitimate interests).
- To keep billing records for as long as tax law requires (legal obligation).
We don't sell your data, show ads or send marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Brevo: sends sign-in links and alert emails.
- Stripe: payments and invoices.
- BulkSMS: sends text message alerts and phone confirmation codes, only if you add a mobile number.
- Google: sign-in, only if you choose it; maps and Street View on deal pages (fetched by our server, so Google doesn't see your IP address).
- Anthropic: AI assessment of listings. Only listing details are sent, never your personal data.
Some of these providers are outside the UK; they protect transfers with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
We use only the essential cookie that keeps you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account we delete your personal data straight away. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.
Your rights
You can download your data or delete your account at any time on the Account page. You can also ask us to correct your data, or object to how we use it by emailing samames842@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
